Help Us Service You Better!
Commercial or Residential:
ONG must know if this is a Commercial or Residential serviceline request or ONG will not process your request. Serviceline requests for Commercial properties will require a call from one of our Commercial Specialists to ensure your request will be done in a timely and professional manner. E.g. driveway installations (sleeve installations), customer kickout issues (customer installing correct metering piping), mutually agreed upon meter locations, etc.
Kickout Installed:
What is a kickout? A kickout is customer owned piping installed by a plumber. It must extend through the wall NO more than 8" from the finished façade and a distance of 20" from final grade. The piping which extends through the wall must have an appropriate sleeve around it. Also, the kickout must be installed a minimum of 3’ from an operable window or electric source. The kickout must be installed or ONG will not process a serviceline request. If the builder mis-informs ONG about a kickout and ONG incurs expenditures for this mis-information the builder will be invoiced for this expenditure.
Grade Complete:
What is Grade Complete? The grade refers to the elevation of soil on the lot in which the builder is constructing a home. The grade complete is confirmed by the builder (or person making the serviceline request). The grade MUST be as close as possible to final grade of lot. The builder can not remove more than 6" of soil from the elevation after they inform ONG that the grade is complete. The grade must be within 6" of final grade or ONG will not process a serviceline request. If the builder decides to remove more than 6" of soil after ONG installs its facilities the builder will be invoiced accordingly for the work associated getting ONG’s facilities back into compliance.
Load - BTU/Hr:
What is Load - BTU/HR? This is the TOTAL BTU/Hr of all the gas fired appliances in the structure. The BTU/Hr total for each appliance is located on the appliance (usually stamped on a plate which is attached to the appliance). This TOTAL BTU/Hr is needed so ONG can properly size their gas meter and install the required buried excess flow valve. The BTU/Hr must be given or ONG will not process a serviceline request. BTU/Hr ranges are given on the website to assist builders with filling out this required field. If ONG installs incorrect facilities due to the builder providing wrong information, ONG will invoice the builder for work associated with getting ONG’s facilities back into compliance.
System Pressure:
What is System Pressure? This is the pressure that you are requesting to serve your structure. ONG standard delivery pressure is 5.3 oz. Other choices for delivery pressures are: 2 Psig for the 2 Psig CSST (Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing) with manifold and regulator system, or 5 Psig or Other. The system pressure must be given or ONG will not process a serviceline request. If ONG installs incorrect facilities due to the builder providing wrong information, ONG will invoice the builder for work associated getting ONG’s facilities back into compliance.
